Bolton Wanderers Football Club is an English professional football club based in the area of Horwich in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton Greater Manchester. They began their current spell in the Premier League in 2001 .
Bolton Wanderers moved to the Reebok Stadium in 1997. Their former home was Burnden Park, where they played for 102 years . On 9 March 1946 at Burnden Park football stadium,a crush resulted in the deaths of 33 people and injuries to hundreds of Bolton fans. It was the deadliest stadium-related disaster in British history until the Ibrox Park disaster in 1971. I remember my Great Grandad telling me stories about it , as he was there - many didn't even realise what happened until much later as the game , an FA Cup Quarter-final second-leg tie between Bolton and Stoke City was allowed to continue , eventually ending goalless . The crowd was estimated to be around 85,000 . Stanley Matthews was on the Stoke team and later said he was sickened that the game was allowed to continue with dead bodies lining the pitch .

The stadium was opened on 1 September 1997 by the recently appointed Labour Party deputy prime minister John Prescott.
The first competitive – and Premier League – match at the stadium was a 0–0 draw between Bolton and Everton on Monday 1 September 1997

First Impressions are ' What a superb stadium ! Its tremendous and the stewarding is second to none . Very friendly all round , the catering runs like a dream and the programme is excellent quality and an enjoyable read without being oversized and over the top . Its supporter and collector friendly and i can see why Bolton have won awards in the past for producing top programmes . There's plenty of parking and from what i observed prices vary from £3 to £6 on average .
On the whole pricing appears to be about right .

QPR started the match and Barton kicked the ball out of play inside the Bolton half . Don't think this tactic will catch on , i used to do that when i was 14 years old .
Both sides created chances but neither team seemed likely to break the deadlock .
QPR were denied a goal , by all accounts what seemed like a world class save , sky cameras showed the ball clearly crossing the line .
Bolton managed to find the net wen Prately scored sending the Trotters in 1-0 at half time .
The second half saw QPR dominate early on and Cisse scored with a neatly struck shot although he appeared to run through from an offside position .
Late on Bolton found a winner and a much needed three points when sub Klasnic fired home .

A friend was unable to attend the game due to the early kick off so i grabbed the chance of two cheap tickets
