Always fancied watching a game at the Crown ground, Acrrington and wasn't disappointed . The day started with heavy rain but by the time i arrived init was a warm sunny day . Dropped the Mrs off near the market and made my way to the ground .Parked up opposite Livingstone Road and walked towards the away entrance with the Burton fans . As i approached the entrance i decided to go with the home supporters . The fans are superb , full of character, the staff were friendly and helpful . There's a cosy bar/lounge near the toilets as you pass a stall selling merchandise . Pint of bitter £2.40 . The teams came out in Champions league style with music and razzmatazz . Stanley: Murdoch, Winnard, Long, Hessey, McIntyre, Procter, Joyce, Fletcher, Craney (Lindfield 79), Coid (Barnett 76), Amond (Moult 86) Subs not used: Dunbavin, Murphy On the far side of the ground the stands disappeared into the landscape and newly errected houses . The Burton fans were congregated behind the goal in the Coppice stand with no covered protection .

Pesch went on to lose his job Coleman went to Rochdale
The game was even with Burton settling down adequately as the away side . Both teams made a couple of chances before Burton capitalised on sloppy Accrington play and scored though Richards making the away followers delighted . Half -time 0-1 In the 72nd minute The Reds found the equaliser when Winnard headed in following a free kick from the left hand side corner . Stanley had the momentum and on loan Burley forward Fletcher made it 2-1 to the home side . Burton 's fans appealed for a penalty during the final minutes when the ball appeared to strike a Stanley defender on the arm showeing their frustration with the officials at the end as they all made their exit in the same direction . Final Score Accrington stanley 2-1 Burton Albion Peel park bonus . only had 10 minutes so i tried to track down the old ground . I was told the pitch and ground belong to a school off Alice Street. Probably need someone local to show me more locations .
