Cleveland indians Road Trip April 09 v Minnesota Twins

Managed to get tickets to see the awesome Minnesota Twins - not just satisfied with one city they have two cities !! Later in the week Boston Redsox are in town . Now associated with Liverpool , probably because they're greatest rivals , ' The New York Yankees ' are associated with Manchester United .

Red Rocks Park is a mountain park in Jefferson County, Colorado, owned and maintained by the city of Denver as part of the Denver Mountain Parks system.
The park is known for its very large red sandstone outcrops.

The Beatles Sex Pistols U2 and others have performed here .

Later on the tour , we visited the grave of Bill Cody Buffalo Bill . His travelling show did visit Manchester , England almost one hundred years ago .

The Colorado Rockies are a Major League Baseball team based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1991, they started play in 1993 and are in the West Division of the National League. The team is named after the Rocky Mountains. The Rockies play their home games at Coors Field in downtown Denver.The first game in Rockies history was played on April 5, 1993, against the New York Mets at Shea Stadium. First franchise home game at Mile High Stadium, and first win in franchise history, came four days later with an 11–4 win over the Montreal Expos. One of the most memorable plays in the game, and in team history, occurred in the bottom of the first inning when 2nd baseman, Eric Young of the Rockies hit a leadoff home run. The game was played before 80,227 fans, to date the largest crowd to see a single regular-season Major League Baseball game

Visiting Football grounds from July 13th 2011

After travelling to Highbury to watch a pre-season friendly between Fleetwood Town and Preston North End i decided to keep a blog of football grounds visited starting July 13th 2011 I.ts my first match and i never intended to start a blog . I'm a football fan , not a journalist or photographer so i've started a journey into the unknown and hpefully like a team starting from the bottom of the leagues , i'll improve along the way . I'll certainly miss goals , arrive late , miss photos i should have taken , capture unusual aspects of the game but it'll be my reports , observations , photos and opinions , no one else .
Inculded will be League Non League Minor League Grounds .I'll re-visit some grounds on my grasshopping journey to show a different perspective and report on any changes , improvements .

I've visited many grounds before including rugby , baseball, speedway,moto-cross but never kept a record . In the United states i was lucky enough to see the great Barry Bonds hit a home run for the San Francisco Giants and ground hopped to Los Angeles Dodgers , Anaheim Angels , Kansas City Royals , Cleveland Indians , Minnesota Twins , New York Yankees , New York Mets , Philadelphia Phillies , Turnerfield , home of the Atlanta Braves , Colorado Rockies , Oakland Athletics (The A's , )

I used to watch Baseball (MLB) on 5 Jonny Gould and Josh Chetwynd (as good as Saint and Greavsie) two of the best presenters of sport in my view . Josh was second to none with his stats and Jonny used to tag along laughing and joking . Jonny can be seen on Chelsea tv i believe and ' live' on 5 . Each year they would do a road trip watching baseball in the USA , goundhopping . It was a great advert for the USA and i could'nt wait for my own groundhopping trip with one of my baseball fanatical buddy's Chris Moss .
